We don’t typically advocate conformist dressing, but there are times when one needs to project the ‘correct’ image. And for some, those occasions can bring on wardrobe panic. We understand and sympathize completely. So, when that critical occasion arises, we reach for de la Renta. Having helped some of society’s crème de la crème achieve the best-dressed rosters, we thinks Oscar knows what he’s doing. A gorgeous chocolate brown and ivory plaid in a soft-as-a-baby’s-behind cashmere and wool fabric, this dress will help you sail through those anxious moments. The dress is slim fitting with a seamed dropped waist that gives the dress the look of a jacket and skirt. It has dolman sleeves, and sports brown leather faux lizard button down the front and at the cuff, and closes with a zipper in the back. Fully lined, with small horizontal inseam pockets at each hipbone, it is in excellent condition and also bears a Neiman-Marcus label.
