Forties glam in one of our favorite color combos - good and plenty candy colors - a pink, white and black sea anenome or firework printed jersey is set off by a black crepe inset and sleeve trim. Ruching treatment of the black crepe at the collarbone lend a tiny bit of fullness at the bodice, with short, dolman sleeves. The drape and line of the gown are va-va-va-voom hourglass, and bound to give even a stick-straight girl the illusion of voluptuous curves. The gown has no closures and is open in the front to the hip, lacing closed at the waist. There is a large cluster of lightened spots in the black crepe in front, approximately 17" from the hem, and a stiff stain about an inch long at 9" from the hem - not conspicuous, but there if you look for it. An alternative would be to hem the gown above the lower stain and wear it at calf length if it really bothers you. Still, a beautiful gown any way you want to wear it. We have it displayed on a dress form with static measurements of 36"-27"-36.5" with a length of 54" and it fits like a glove - the drape and stretch of the jersey will accommodate larger measurements, but it's going to look best on a modern size 6-8 or slender 10. $275
