1960s Blue Chenille Shift Dress with Striped Coat

Boo hoo, we've been holding onto this ensemble for eons just because we can't bear to part with the fabulous coat. But we aren't one to split up a happy couple, and though you may fall in love, as we did, with the coat alone, the navy shift dress is part of the package, and truth be told, together, the sum of this ensemble is greater than it's parts. Okay, first the dress - a classic sheath style, sleeveless with a rounded neckline and a straight line - zippered closure in back. The perfect foil to the coat - variegated stripes of blue and kiwi green, with off white as a nice balance. Single breasted with a row of fabulous grape buttons. But wait, there's a belt. A wide belt with a brass buckle that circles the waist of the dress, though we always liked it with the coat. Dress measures: Bust 36", hip 39", length 38". Jacket Bust 36", shoulder 15.5", sleeve 22", length 38".  Both pieces are unlined, and in excellent condition. Made by RK Originals.   $285
