1970s Bill Tice Jersey Caftan with Gold Lame Yoke

To our eye, this dress has a decidedly Cleopatra vibe going on.  The slinky black jersey is cut into a v-shaped caftan, set off with a quilted gold lame shoulder yoke treatment.  The deep, dolman sleeve is gathered at the shoulder, tapering to the wrist. The shoulder is gathered front and across the back, into the shoulder yoke, with the fullness of the shoulder released through the bodice, and the line of the dress narrowing toward the hem, which is slit up the left side. The dress is generously sized through the bust, tapering to a hip measuring 43", shoulder 14", sleeve 23", length 54". We are showing it below belted with a wide quilted gold corset belt (not available). Labeled Bill Tice and in excellent condition. $215
