Vintage Strapless Blush Satin Gown with Applique Bodice

It's tough to pinpoint the exact era of this dress - both the fabric and the style are classical and timeless. What we do know is that the quality of the construction is pure vintage - what you would find only in couture today, and we're showing a photo of the inside of the bodice below to give you an idea of what we're talking about. So, we're going to date it circa 1950s,  but don't hold us to it, and it really doesn't matter - the gown is exquisite.  In a blush pink satin, the bodice of the dress is boned at the sides and self lined on the inside, with an outer corselet that features a a corded rose patterned applique shot with gold metallic thread that gives it a sparkly, but never overstated appearance.  The glossy satin drapes in soft folds from the waist and looks like it's begging to taken out on the ballroom floor. The dress has an invisible zipper closure in the back, with the corselet portion hooking closed separately over it. The only issue appears to be a slight discoloration at the center back of the bodice, and maybe some minor abrasion on the satin skirt, but you'd never know it to look at it.  Simply stunning.  Bust measures 30, waist is 24.5", length from the top of the dress at the underarm to the hem is 45".  $425
