1970s Dominic Rompollo White Pintucked Dress

This dress makes us long for a little time out in an exotic land with a hot and sultry climate. By Dominic Rompollo, its a long sheath in an off-white, mid-weight linen blend fabric that's supple, not stiff, and given further shape and drape with rows of pin tucking running from the bust to the hem. The bodice is a modified halter style with a deepset and square cut shoulder line and a nehru collar. It buttons at the top with three bound buttonholes, then has covered snap closures concealed beneath the placket that run to about mid-thigh. The dress is finished with a slit 24" from the hem in front. Oversized patch pockets sit at either hip, and a long sash tie belt cinches the waist. Fully lined and aside from a cluster of tiny rust colored spots (pictured in last photo), the largest of which is approximately 1/2 cm in length, its in excellent condition. Bust 33", waist 33", hip 36", length 55".  $275
