1950s Linen Dress with Lace Appliqué |

Designed in linen a pale beige, almost ivory shade, this dress is beautiful enough to be worn by a bride for an informal wedding. The bodice is fitted and boned, with delicate shoulder straps. A modified empire waist meets a gathered skirt adorned with a deeper beige lace at the hem and appliquéd above the lace. Back zipper closure. The bodice is lined in ivory acetate, the skirt in an ivory linen organza, which peeks out under the sheer lace. Bust 35", waist 27", length 40". Made by Georgette Trilére, the dress also carries a J.W. Robinson department store label. Excellent condition. $195
