1960s Raffia Shift Dress

In a butterscotch hued synthetic raffia, this simple little shift dress could take you through a day at the office right on into an evening of ...whatever.  The style is  classic, but rendered in such an unusual material, it rides the edge between day and night wear like Laird Hamilton on a North Shore swell. With just a change of shoes and accessories, this dress will swing either way.  Backed in acetate the same shade as the crochet, the dress zips up the back and that's about it.  No labels, the dress appears to be custom tailored, our best guess is it was tailored in Hong Kong. Bust measures 36", waist 32", hip 36", shoulder 14", length 39". Excellent condition. $105
