1970s Clovis Ruffin Red Jersey Dress |

Not that it really matters, take a look at John Galliano, for instance, but Clovis Ruffin was quite the hunk. Tall, blond and blue-eyed, and could he ever design a dress! There is something very seductive about good looking men designing clothes for women. It's even better than the boyfriend (forget husband - after marriage that degree of interest in you ceases to exist - unless your man is a closet homosexual) who wants to take you shopping to buy you clothes. We have a pretty good idea of what Clovis had in mind when he designed this dress. A simple gown with a capelet bodice and straps that tie at the top of the shoulder. In cherry red poly jersey, this dress is form loving and figure flattering to even the most voluptuous of female shapes - forgiving and not too clingy. Bust measures to 36", hip to 39", length 58" (remember, straps are adjustable). Excellent condition. $225
