1960s Travilla Silk Chiffon Dress

A beautiful little confection from William Travilla, even if it isn't perfect.  In mint green silk chiffon, the top layer floats over a fitted sheath with a nude illusion bodice.  The waist is slightly dropped, and accented with a pleated peplum at the hip, with a straight, pencil skirt below. The pleated detail is also on the cuff of the short sleeve. The skirt is backed in silk crepe, with the whole thing being lined in china silk from the bodice down.  Zippered closure in back with a 6" vent at the back hem.  Bust 36", waist 28", hip 37", shoulder, 14.5", sleeve 8.5", length 38".  The dress has the original hang tag and was unworn, however it has  faint scattered age 'freckles' - two on the front bodice and several on the skirt. $95
