1960s Orange Silk Shantung Hostess Dress

With decorative oriental frogged accent down the front and belled 'mambo' sleeve, this hostess dress is one part Asian one part Latin - Lasian, if you will. A vibrant orange silk shantung fabric with a delicate chrysanthemum print in pale rose, beige, chartreuse and lime green.  Accented at the collar and down the front with a chartreuse shantung trim, and decorative frogging. The dress has a back zipper closure and an inverted kick vent in front, and is backed in a melon toned lining.  The belled sleeve cuff is lined in the chartreuse silk so that as you move your arms, you flash a little green - very nice. Perfect for entertaining at home or pair it with chartreuse silk capris for a cruise dinner. Bust measures 35", waist 26", hip 37", shoulder 14.5", sleeve 21", length 56".  Excellent condition. $235
