1970s Calvin Klein Silk Shirtdress

Classics are a good thing.  As much as our eye is turned by things that are funky and flashy, we're not afraid to admit that we have a closet full of classic pieces by designers whose work is so 'classic', you have trouble distinguishing which decade it is from - and there is a lot of Calvin Klein in that closet. Because even if you are a 'funky-flashy' type of gal, the time always comes when you have to wear something a little less 'animated', and Calvin Klein will always be a great choice to fill that bill. His designs are classic, but never boring. With Calvin you won't feel that you are sacrificing your individually, merely adding another dimension to it. This classic silk  shirtdress in a black and white plaid, buttons from bust to hem with delicate self-covered buttons. It has buttoned flap patch pockets over each breast, and hidden inseam pockets at the hip.  The shoulder is dropped, with a single pleat off the yoke at both shoulders in back and a double buttoned cuff on the sleeve. Single pleated into the waist seam over each hipbone.  Simple, tasteful and fabulous.  Bust measures 38",  waist 26", hip 38", shoulder 19", sleeve 22",  total length 37". Excellent condition. $165
