1950s Navy Silk Shantung  Bow Dress

A dress to appease the femme fatale in you,  the pinnacle of demure femininity, and suggestive rather than obvert sexuality.  In navy blue silk shantung, the bodice of the dress is gently eased into the softly gathered waistline. The rounded, slightly wide-set neckline dips a little lower in back, accented by a pair of bows at the waist.  The sleeve is a short, modified batwing style, complimenting the line of the dress. Zippered closure in the back.  Lined from the waist to the hem, bodice is unlined. Bust 35", waist 25", hip 36", shoulder 14.5", sleeve 15", length 37".  By Jane Hodges, New York, and in excellent condition. $155
