Lace can be misleading. You're expecting soft and delicate, but sometimes you end up with a lace garment so stiff and scratchy, you wouldn't be paid to wear it against your skin. Rest assured, as would be expected from Mollie Parnis, this gown is the former, so soft you might think you could live in it for the rest of your natural life. Deep teal green, it is not the teeniest bit stiff or scratchy, and slides over the skin like silk. Styled with the lace cascading over a sleeveless under gown of green silk chiffon backed in a nude silk lining. The V-cut neckline, both front and back, has a scalloped lace edge. Semi-full sleeves are elbow-length and elasticized with a lace ruffle at the elbow. A green satin sash accents the waist, and and the gown has a back zipper closure. Designed by Morty Sussman for the Mollie Parnis Boutique, it also carries a Saks Fifth Avenue label and is in excellent condition. Bust measures 36", waist 23", hip 38", shoulder 15", sleeve 19", length 52". $165
