A classic houndstooth pattern in ivory, black, charcoal and dove gray is elevated above the usual countryfied look with elegant accents of black velveteen - at the collar and inside facing edge of the placket, and also in velveteen covered buttons up the front and at the sleeve cuff - so that this coat goes from day to evening without a blink. The cut is streamlined and feminine, with a slightly set-in shoulder and a tapered sleeve that has a pair of buttons to adjust at the wrist. Vertical pockets rest at either hip. Made by Marguerite Rubel, it is fully lined in black satin, and in excellent condition. Bust measures 40", waist 40", hip 42", shoulder approx. 3", approx .sleeve length 22", total length 39". $175
