1960s Buff Cashmere 3 Button Coat

One of the very first things we learned about clothing (while still in grade school), was that there is nothing like cashmere.  Now, maybe Mom was just trying to steer us away from other sensual pleasures in driving that into our little head, but the result was that we became something of a cashmere glutton, believing there is no such thing as having too much of the stuff.  It was okay that the cashmere sweaters filled up three chests, but when we discovered we owned three vintage cashmere coats - all in the same color - we realized we had a problem.  This beautiful version is straight and simply cut, with 3 large cashmere buttons closing the front.  Has a raglan sleeve, and welted slit pockets on either side of the lower waist . Classic and elegant, this is a great coat that you will treasure forever, unless of course, you acquire one too many that are nearly identical to each other. Fully lined in apricot satin and in excellent condition. Bust 39"; waist 40", hip 41"; shoulder 15"; sleeve 22"; length 40".  $265
