With its simple cut and straight forward style, this is
definitely not your run-of-the-mill overcoat. An unexpected surprise
from the classic sportswear company Izod, this single breasted coat
is in a medium weight olive colored cotton twill and has a clever
little closure – elongated shiny gold toned metal outer grommets
with a corresponding metal ‘loop’ on the left edge of
the placket, that pushes through
the grommet from beneath, then cinches closed with a fabric tab
on the lapel which threads back through ‘loop’. A topstitched
horizontal seam at hip height carries a flap pocket at each hip,
and an inverted kick pleat in back. Fully lined in gold satin, it
