1980s Burnt Orange Cashmere/Wool Cocoon Coat

Do you find yourself reaching for that basic black so often that those around you think you’re in perpetual morning? Well sister, its time to crawl out of that dark brooding rut and turn over a colorful new leaf. Spectacularly autumn-toned in a rich burnt orange, this luxurious cashmere and wool  coat will ensure that you welcome fall feeling nurtured, safe and warm. The generously cut cocoon style is double breasted with a pair of buttons, a huge pleated shawl collar, and a fabulous dolman sleeve  – the whole of which serves to make you feel like you’re all wrapped up in a snuggly (but chic!) blanky, and is the most sumptuous thing this side of mink. Lined in the same hued burnt orange silk satin, it is in excellent condition and just what the doctor ordered to foist you out of boring fashion black-ness. Made in France for the Biva Saint Honore boutique, it should fit anywhere from a solid size 8 to a small 14. Bust 47”,
Waist 44”, Hip 44”, Sleeve 22.5, Shoulder 16” (approximate),  length 47”, 19” back vent.  sold
