Oscar de la Renta Brick Red Wool Coat

Guess it's the collar that gives this coat a military character, but no one is going to mistake you for a gal in uniform in it. Impossibly supple wool twill in a luscious brick red, the coat is unlined and drapes like a dream. Two welted pockets at the bust and two at the hip (you can tuck the flap in on all the pockets for a cleaner line as demonstrated on the pocket at the left hip). Light colored wooden buttons run collar to thigh, and one at the sleeve barrel cuff. Bust  measures 42", waist 40", hip 42", shoulder 17", sleeve 24, length 44", 19" back vent. Has tiny thread pulls scattered on it, so we're calling the condition very good, still a beautiful and classic coat.  Also bears a Saks Fifth Avenue label.  $375
