1970s Yves Saint Laurent Distressed Trench Coat |

Before all you vintage purists get your panties in a bunch, let us say right off the bat that this coat ain't perfect. It's probably best described as 'distressed' since, unlike 99% of the vintage we offer, it's sporting evidence of it's age, namely: a few small scattered spots on the right sleeve, one on the left pocket, a couple of pinpricks on the collar, and light wear on the edge of the sleeve. All that said, because it's vintage Yves Saint Laurent, it has a great girly cut, and details that only Saint Laurent would think of, like half rings attached to the channel stitched belt to give it a distinctly military vibe. Shoot, the belt alone is cool enough to justify the less than pristine condition of the coat. In a putty-tan poplin fabric, it has epaulets on the shoulder, a buttoned half belt on the sleeve cuff, and vertical welted pockets at the hip. From St. Laurent's Rive Gauche line, this is fully lined in a lightweight cotton. Bust and waist 38", hip 41", shoulder 15.5", sleeve 21", 43" total length with an 18" vent in back. So, if you're looking for a virgin, this gal isn't for you, but if you don't mind a little mileage, you'd do well with this old girl. $275
