Though there is a lot of fabric in the design and the cut is oversized, the proportion is deceptively streamlined - falling from the shoulder in soft folds over the body. A clean and simple line - open in front with a single hook and eye closure at the neck concealed by a detachable buttoned tab - in an unlined camel hued felted wool that is as soft and supple as cashmere. Deep patch pockets at the hip, a gathered and buttoned banded sleeve cuff concealed under a wider straight cuff, and a slightly dropped shoulder. The interior seams of the hood and side seams are finished with flesh-toned fabric tape, enhancing the clean line. Made for Kenzo's Jap label, we found three small areas where the nap of the wool is gone - one on the hood, one on the right sleeve near the cuff, and the largest, about 1 cm in length at the right pocket, otherwise it's in excellent condition. Bust to 46", sleeve (center back to end of sleeve 30"), length 46". $265
