1950s Black Clutch Coat with Embroidered Falling Leaves

Glossy black wool is strewn with little elliptical shapes embroidered in black silk thread that, like leaves falling in Autumn, glint in the light when you move. A deep shawl collar allows you to turn it high up on your neck to snuggle into, and the open, clutch styling begs to envelope and protect you for the elements and who know what else. A split cuff turns back to the forearm, or leave them down if you prefer a longer sleeve length.  Rapturously soft, weighty, warm and generously cut - everything a clutch coat should be and so much more.  Fully lined in black satin, it is in excellent condition.  Bust 39", hip 60", shoulder 13", sleeve 20" with a 2" cuff, length 39".   $275
