In the 1950s, women weren't afraid to use color in their wardrobe, and they were rewarded with shades that we don't often see in modern fashion. Pink is such a flattering color to many skin tones, and women shouldn't be afraid to wear it - particularly as an outer layer. The color of this beautiful wool coat could be described as a deep peony or geranium pink. Single breasted styling with round gumdrop shaped rose pink buttons, it has a raglan shoulder and horizontal welted slash pockets with a flap above. Dressmaker detailing includes bound button holes and decorative top stitching on the collar and flap of the pocket. Fully lined in hot pink acetate, it is in excellent condition. Bust measures 44", hip 50", shoulder 15.5", sleeve 23", length 39". sold
