After watching Kim Novak bopping down the stairs
in ‘Picnic’ for the zillionth time, we realized that we will never
get this belt around our waist. And what a crying shame it is, because
although this belt is not in perfect condition, it is fabulous
nonetheless. The front part of the belt is polished black calf leather,
which is joined at the side by gold-toned elongated rings to a zebra
printed pony skin back. There are several scattered divots in the pony
skin, but the belt itself is so unique and stunning, that those flaws
are easily forgiven. Other than that, and minimal wear on the underside
of the buckle, the belt is in very good condition. Made for I. Magnin by
Ben King, it is 2” wide, and will fit a waist of 22” to 24”. $120
