Ah, the thoughtful Marie Gray, when she creates a belt to wear
with a St. John dress, she makes sure it's designed to rest properly
against the knit. In this instance, the links of this gold toned belt
are very thin and flat, with a cord of black Santana knit woven
through the links, so that unlike many link belts, it lays comfortably
flat against the body. The metal 'clasp' is stamped 'ST. JOHN', and has
a prong on the back that hooks through any link, so it's adjustable. A
little gold toned ball dangles from either end. Measures 43", end
to end, with the metal plaque clasp measuring 2" long by 3/4" high.
Mint condition and stored in the plastic keeper bag designed to keep the
belt with the dress, which apparently did not work in this case. $115
